Vicky Losada has said that Albion's performance in their 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday is well below where she expected it to be.
Bruna Vilamala scored the only goal of the game in a tough encounter against the Eagles which made it three WSL wins out of four.
âBeing honest and direct, I think we were horrible,â Losada said. âWe won, we found a way to get the three points, but that was a performance that is really far from what we expect of ourselves.
âThat's something that we've changed from last year, finding a way of winning. But we also have to be honest with ourselves, we have a big game next week and I think if we play like we did on Sunday we probably won't be getting the three points against Manchester United.
âBut now is also a time to be together. We made a big effort against Palace and we won the three points but we also need to learn from the mistakes."

Goalscorer Bruna is on a season-long loan from Barcelona, where she played alongside Losada. The goal was her first in an Albion shirt.
âIt's good for Bruna," Losada added. "She's new in the WSL and it was very clever from her to keep playing [when Palace appealed for a free-kick]. I'm so happy for her and hopefully there will be many more goals in the future.â
Vicky expects the United game to be a yardstick of her teamâs improvement this season.
âIt's going to be an exciting moment for the club. Hopefully we can get a lot of fans to the Amex to support us," she added.
âOn the football side hopefully we can build this week, have good sessions and learn, watch the game back, see the mistakes we've made and have the right mentality to get the three points against United.â
