Luca Barrington scored twice for Grimsby Town in a 2-1 win over Salford City.
The winger opened the scoring in the first minute, before grabbing another just before half-time.
He now has three goals in 11 appearances for the Mariners.
Tom McGill conceded a 77th minute goal as MK Dons were beaten 1-0 at home by Port Vale. Former Albion man Lorent Tolaj is now with Vale, where he’s been involved in six goals in nine appearances.
Lily Dent came on for the final half hour of Portsmouth’s 5-0 home defeat to Southampton in the Women's Championship, while Grace McEwen was an unused sub for Pompey. Libby Bance was also an unused substitute for Bristol City in their 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers.
In The FA Women’s National League Southern Division, Comfort Erhabor started for Plymouth Argyle, but they were beaten 5-1 by Ipswich Town.
Blackpool’s game against at Bristol Rovers, Northampton’s match at Wigan and Exeter’s home fixture against Mansfield Town were postponed, which meant Odel Offiah, Samy Chouchane and Kamari Doyle all missed out on football over the weekend.
