Match facts
Everton's last five WSL meetings with Brighton have seen them alternate between a loss (3) and a victory (2), losing 4-0 in the reverse fixture this season.
Following their 4-0 home win back in September, Brighton and Hove Albion will be aiming to complete a first double over Everton in the Women's Super League, with this the seventh top-flight campaign in which they have met.
Highlights from Brighton's opening day fixture at home to Everton.
Everton have won four of their last six WSL home matches (D1 L1), more than they managed across their previous 19 league matches on home turf (W3 D6 L10). The Toffees have also scored in six straight home matches for the first time since November2020 (run of 9).
Everton haven't won any of their last 29 WSL games when falling behind (D6 L23), since beating Reading 3-2 in April 2023 - the Toffees have however come from behind to draw more matches than any other side in 2024-25 (4), including last time out versus Manchester City.
Only Crystal Palace (4) have won fewer points in the Women's Super League in 2025 than Brighton and Hove Albion (5 - W1 D2 L6), with that duo also the only teams yet to win more than once this calendar year.
Only Manchester City (10) have scored more headed goals than Everton (6) in the Women's Super League this season - four of their six have come from open play crosses with again only the Citizens (8) rewarded more often in that manner.
Everton remain the only team yet to have an English goalscorer in the WSL this season (14 shots) with only West Ham in both 2019-20 and 2022-23 ever going a full top-flight campaign without an English player scoring for them (excluding own goals).
Brighton's Nikita Parris has only scored more goals in the Women's Super League against Liverpool (9) than Everton (8); having started her WSL career with the Toffees (12 goals), a brace in this match would see Parris become the first player to both score 10 goals for and against the same team in the top-flight.
