Our men’s under-18s were beaten 2-0 by Fulham in Premier League South on Saturday.
Two goals in the first 16 minutes from Seth Chingwaro and Logan Cooke ensured the Cottagers came away with all three points to leave Albion in ninth.
“We didn't defend two set pieces well in the first half and that secured the game for Fulham,” head coach Arthur Brammer said.
“We had the better of the second half and we created some good chances, but we weren't able to capitalise on the momentum we'd built.
"I was pleased with the impact from the younger players coming into the team – Zebedee Lawson, Jacob Parsons, Fraser Widdop, Zach Brennan and Christiano Anah all got minutes. So it was a young team with lots of potential.
“We just needed to make it count in the opposition’s area. We will continue to work hard with one league game to go.”
