You can now register your interest to be a part of our girls' academy for the 2025/26 season.

We are on the lookout for talented young players to join our high-performing age groups in the girls’ academy pathway for next season.

The academy is based at the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre in Lancing, West Sussex.

Our facilities include high-quality pitches, a gym, medical centre, purpose-built changing areas and recovery facility.

Expression of interest applications for the GU12, GU13, GU14, GU15, and GU16 teams are now open.

Training takes place throughout the week where players benefit from top-level technical coaching, strength and conditioning programmes, physiotherapy, performance analysis, life-skills development, and wellbeing support.

Our upcoming trial dates are as follows, with exact session times to be communicated in due course.

The deadline for the expression of interest application to be submitted is Monday 21 April 2025.

Monday 2 June 2025: Phase 1

GU14s: Must be in Year 9 from September 2025
GU15s: Must be in Year 10 from September 2025
GU16s: Must be in Year 11 from September 2025

Tuesday 3 June 2025: Phase 1

GU12s: Must be in Year 7 from September 2025
GU13s: Must be in Year 8 from September 2025

Thursday 5 June 2025: Phase 2

GU14s: Must be in Year 9 from September 2025
GU15s: Must be in Year 10 from September 2025
GU16s: Must be in Year 11 from September 2025

Friday 6 June 2025: Phase 2

GU12s: Must be in Year 7 from September 2025
GU13s: Must be in Year 8 from September 2025

Applicants must:

Previous or current experience playing within an academy, ETC, former RTC and/or high-level grassroots team.
Previous or current experience playing mixed grassroots football.
Live within an appropriate distance of the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre in Lancing (BHAFC Training Ground, BN15 9FP)

When considering applying for the GU15s or GU16s age groups, please see sample criteria below:

Please note: We are unable to respond to any applications from players who have accepted their offer of retention to their current PGA registration by their current club.
