We're delighted to announce that defender Jess Pegram has signed her first professional contract with the club.

Women’s and girls’ academy manager Perry Northeast said, “Jess is a gifted defender with a lot of potential to progress in the women's game, and we're really excited to support her on the next stage of that journey.

"She's been given the opportunity to train and travel with the women's first team this season, providing her with valuable experience in a senior environment while learning from talented players.

“She’s progressed well in her three seasons, and we’re excited to see her continue her development."

Pegram, 18, joined Albion in 2022 and has made 39 appearances for the under-19s across all competitions. She was part of the squad that won the Nike Cup in 2023 against Tottenham Hotspur.
