Loan report: Sarmiento promoted with Burnley
Burnley made an immediate return to the Premier League as their win over Sheffield United on Monday saw them confirm at least a second place finish.

Jeremy Sarmiento enjoyed a second consecutive Championship promotion as he helped Burnley back into the Premier League.
The Ecuador international was part of the Ipswich Town squad that went up last season, anda 2-1 win over Sheffield United on Easter Monday ensured Scott Parker’s team would make an immediate return to the Premier League. Jeremy has made 33 appearances for Burnley this season.
James Beadle (Sheffield Wednesday) and Andrew Moran (Stoke City) were unused substitutes for their teams over the weekend.
Valentin Barco’s unbeaten run with Strasbourg reached ten games as they drew 0-0 with Monaco in Ligue 1, while Abdallah Sima wasn’t able to continue his goalsoring run of three in three, as Stade Brest were beaten 3-1 at home by Lens.
Blau Weiss Linz were cast aside by Sturm Graz as the reigning Austrian champions made it three consecutive wins. Kjell Scherpen and Malick Yalcouye were once again starters for Graz.
In League One, Odel Offiah’s Blackpool beat Stevenage 3-1 on Good Friday before losing 2-1 to Wrexham on Monday, while Luca Barrington’s Grimsby were beaten 4-0 by Swindon Town, although a decent point against Port Vale on Monday kept them in the League Two play-off race.
Crawley Town kept their survival hopes alive with two impressive results – having drawn 0-0 with third tier champions Birmingham City on Good Friday they defeat Exeter City 3-1 at Broadfield on Monday. Kamari Doyle played in both games. Caylan Vickers grabbed an assist in Mansfield Town’s 3-3 draw with Rotherham as they came from 3-1 down to snatch a point, but a 5-1 home defeat to Reading on Monday meant a miserable end to Easter for the struggling Stags.
In the Premier League, Evan Ferguson came on for the final minutes of West Ham’s 1-1 draw with Southampton, Julio Enciso played the first 45 minutes of Ipswich Town’s 4-0 defeat to Arsenal and Facundo Buonanotte on for the last 30 minutes of Leicester’s 1-0 defeat to Liverpool, which confirmed the Foxes’ return to the Championship.
In Scotland's second tier, Ben Jackson played 90 minutes as Queens Park ended a losing run of seven games, drawing 0-0 with Hamilton Academical.
In non-League, Harry Lee’s Gosport Borough suffered back-to-back defeats to Tiverton Town and Havant & Waterlooville, with the latter seeing Lee come up against Lorenz Ferdinand, who had a much better weekend as their win over Gosport came on the back of a 3-0 victory over Bracknell Town. The Hawks are two points outside of the Southern League Premier South play-off places with two games to go.
Portsmouth Women moved three points clear of the bottom of the Women's Championship, after they drew 1-1 with Bristol City. Hannah Poulter started in goal, while Comfort Erhabor was named on the bench.
