Women in Football Regional Meeting.
On Tuesday evening we hosted the first regional networking event for Women in Football, in conjunction with our own Women’s Equality Network.
The Women’s Equality Network is a group of female and non-binary BHAFC staff, along with male allies, who champion and support women working at the club.
The event took place at the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre in Lancing, and alongside networking and conversations, guests were given a tour of the training ground facilities.
Women in Football.
Attendees included Women in Football board member Kelly Simmons OBE, who hosted a panel with Rose Read (Brighton & Hove Albion FC) and Michelle Clark (Sussex County FA).
Women in Football are looking to continue their networking events around the country, so if you're interested in taking part or hosting one via your organisation, please send them an email.
Women in Football are a network of professionals working in and around the football industry who support and champion their peers.
You can read more about their work here.
