Facundo Buonanotte, Jack Hinshelwood, James Milner and Kaoru Mitoma brought downtown Tokyo to a standstill this lunchtime as fans queued for the chance to meet their heroes at Kamo Soccer Store in Harajuku.
Hundreds of fans crammed into the store and queued across five floors, with Japan international Kaoru, supported by his teammates, taking part in a question-and-answer session, before each lucky fan got to meet the players.
Each fan was presented with a signed gift by club ambassador Glenn Murray.
Chief executive and deputy chairman Paul Barber was also in attendance, along with technical director David Weir and club kitman Alex Burrows, the star of our YouTube show Buzz’s Bootroom Quiz. Albion complete their two-game tour, with a special open training session for fans on Saturday, ahead of the second match against Tokyo Verdy at the National Stadium on Sunday evening.
On Wednesday evening, Fabian Hürzeler enjoyed a debut win as head coach with a comfortable 5-1 victory over Kashima Antlers.
