Dario Vidosic had no complaints after Albion exited the Subway League Cup after a 4-0 defeat to holders Arsenal at the Broadfield Stadium.
After a goalless 65 minutes the Gunners scored three goals in five minutes on their way to a tenth successive victory in all competitions.
The head coach said, "Defensively we were well organised for an hour, and limited them to very few clear chances.
The longer the game goes you always have a chance at 0-0 but with the ball we offered too little. Well done to Arsenal, but without the ball we weren't good enough and we then made a mistake with the first goal, dropped our heads a little bit and lost our way.

"In five minutes it was game over. So we have to pick ourselves up, learn from this and acknowledge there is a lot to improve with the ball. There will be a lot of deep searching before another trip to Manchester to play United on Sunday."
One positive for Albion was the return to action for midfielder Dejana Stefanovic as a second-half substitute. "It was great for Dekky to be back after such a long time out," added Vidosic. "Hopefully she can build on those minutes tonight but she was obviously delighted to be on the pitch again."
