Team News
Albion have no fresh injury worries after Wednesday's League Cup exit to Arsenal and midfielder Dejana Stefanovic came on during the second half to play her first minutes of the season. “It was good to see her back,” said head coach Dario Vidosic. “It’s a case of building her minutes up now but she is another option for us and hopefully a few of the other players will be back in contention soon.”
Dario Vidosic’s thoughts
“It’s a quick turnaround after Wednesday’s game and a long trip again for the girls so preparation is key. There are things which we’ve worked on since the Arsenal game. We need to better on the ball. Defensively, for the first hour or so, we were very good but offensively I know we can do better.
“United are in a good moment – they beat Man City last Sunday and obviously they have some good players. The game at the Amex when we drew 1-1 earlier in the season was a great advert for the WSL and I’m expecting similar on Sunday. We’ll need to be at our best but we’re really looking forward to the challenge.”
