It was the Paraguayan’s second goal for the Tractor Boys, with the 21-year-old coming in for some terrific praise from his manager, Kieran McKenna.
“He has an incredible showreel for a young player," said McKenna. "It is in some ways frustrating we’ve not had him for more of the season as he arrived late and then he had an injury pretty soon after coming.
“That individual quality which pretty much every team at this level has lots of can win you points and win you games and Julio is certainly one who has that.
“We’ve enjoyed having him. It is testament to him how he is working for the group because he is a loan player here for a short while, he’s not quite been able to help us get the momentum that we would have wanted early enough in the season.”
Elsewhere in the Premier League, Evan Ferguson got on for the final ten minutes of West Ham’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham, while Facundo Buonanotte wasn’t named in Leicester City’s squad for their 2-0 win over fellow relegated side Southampton.

The season also ended in relegation for Kamari Doyle and Crawley Town despite finishing the campaign with three straight wins. It was a superb year individually for the 19-year-old, who scored ten goals and assisted four times across his loans with Exeter City and the Red Devils.
The Grecians on the other hand finished 15th, but were on the wrong end of a 3-0 defeat, as Caylan Vickers set up one in Mansfield Town’s home win over them.
In League Two, Luca Barrington missed out on the playoffs with Grimsby Town as they suffered a final day defeat to Wimbledon.
On the continent, Ibrahim Osman got the assist for Feyenoord’s fourth goal in their 4-1 win over Heracles Almelo, while Valentin Barco’s unbeaten run with Strasbourg continued as they stunned Ligue 1 champions PSG 2-1 at home.
