Guro Bergsvand is one of five players who will leave the club at the end of the season.

The club can confirm that five members of our women’s first-team squad – Poppy Pattinson, Maria Thorisdottir, Guro Bergsvand, Dejana Stefanovic and Pauline Bremer - will be leaving when their contracts expire in June.

Between them, the five players have made more 200 appearances for the club.

Head coach Dario Vidosic said, “Our final home game of the season against Arsenal today gives our fans the opportunity to say goodbye to five players who have been a great support to me in my first season as head coach and fine servants of the club.

“They have always represented Brighton & Hove Albion in the right way on the pitch, on the training ground and in the way they have conducted themselves day to day.

“On behalf of everyone at Brighton & Hove Albion I’d like to wish Guro, Maria, Pauline, Poppy and Dejana all the best for their futures and they know they will always be welcome visitors to the club.”
