Fabian Hurzeler confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Pervis Estupinan and Solly March are options for the game. Both players have missed the last three matches through injury, having last featured in the 3-1 win over Manchester United.
Lewis Dunk is a doubt, according to the head coach.
"It's an area near his ribs, an issue where I can't say it will take two weeks or three weeks," Hurzeler said. "Everyone who knows Lewis knows he is trying really hard to get back on the pitch as quickly as possible.
"But at the moment he has a lot of pain and we really have to go day by day [but] I think it can also turn quickly and then he can be an option maybe next week already."
Fabian's thoughts

On Southampton's appointment of Ivan Juric... "There was a change. In general they play very man orientated. They try to to build up by using the target player more. They still have individual quality. They have players in the front line who have the skill to score out of every action.
"I see that they play a little bit more direct. They try to press very high, try to be very aggressive."
On building consistency... "Consistency is the word. That goes with us through the whole season so far and I think consistency you can't build overnight. It has to be a day by day behaviour and a game by game behaviour."
Match stats
Having been unbeaten in their first seven Premier League games against Brighton (W3 D4), Southampton are now winless in their last six against the Seagulls (D3 L3).
Albion are unbeaten in all six of their Premier League away games against Southampton (W2 D4) – they’ve only visited West Ham (8) more without ever losing in the competition, while Saints have only hosted Nottingham Forest (7) more often without success.
Southampton have lost each of their last seven Premier League home games, conceding at least three goals in six of these. The only sides to lose 8+ in a row at home within a single campaign are Watford (11 in 2021-22), Wolves (9 in 2011-12) and Sunderland (8 in 2002-03).
Six of our nine Premier League wins this season have been against sides starting the day in the top half of the table. Albion have got a 46% win rate (6/13) against sides in the top ten this term compared to 25% against sides in the bottom half (3/12), drawing both games against sides in the relegation zone.
Only Tottenham (21) have dropped more points from winning positions than Southampton (20) in the Premier League this season, with Saints also winning a league-low one point from behind this term - against Albion.
Southampton are the only side yet to score from outside the box in the Premier League this season. They’ve never gone a full campaign without scoring from distance in the competition, while in their last top-flight season in 2022-23 they scored the highest share from outside the box (22.2% - 8/36).
Thanks to a pair of assists against Chelsea last time out, Danny Welbeck has been involved in ten Premier League goals for Brighton this season (6 goals, 4 assists). Only in 2011-12 at Man Utd has he been involved in more in a single campaign (13 – 9 goals, 4 assists).
Yankuba Minteh has been involved in four goals in his last four Premier League games (3 goals, 1 assist), netting a brace against Chelsea last time out. It’s one more than he’d managed in his first 16 appearances in the competition (2 goals, 1 assist).
Only Adam Armstrong (4) – who is currently on loan at West Brom – has been involved in more Premier League goals for Southampton this season than Paul Onuachu (3 – 2 goals, 1 assists), despite all three of Onuachu’s coming in the last four games.
Kaoru Mitoma has been involved in five goals in his last six appearances for Brighton in all competitions (4 goals, 1 assist), as many as in his previous 28 (3 goals, 2 assists).
