Albion help Japanese fan's dream come true

We were delighted to welcome Albion fan Kazuo 'Charlie' Sobajima to the Amex for his first Albion game in Brighton for nearly 50 years.
The 72-year-old lived in Brighton in the 1970s, becoming a season ticket holder at the Goldstone Ground, before moving back to Tokyo in 1978.
Despite the difficulty in following Albion from the other side of the world, Kazuo's love of the club has never waned and he was delighted to get the chance to watch us in action when we visited Japan for our pre-season tour in 2024.
His dream though was to watch Albion again in Brighton.
We combined with the Premier League and Kaoru Mitoma to make that dream a reality.
