Albion had to settle for a point in Saturday’s Premier League 2 game against Wolves after substitute Louis Flower netted a second-half equaliser.
The home side dominated for long spells, had 16 attempts at goal and forced corners but only had Flower’s 70th-minute strike, after good work by Marcus Ifill, to show for their dominance.

Wolves had taken an early lead through Josh Esen’s strike from 12 yards but Albion regrouped and went on to dominate and create chances. Kaylan Vickers, Joshua Duffus and Charlie Tasker all went close before the equaliser and Albion created enough in the final 20 minutes to have gone on to win, with Harry Howell going close with two headers and Duffus and Flower also frustrated.
It leaves Shannon Ruth’s side with four points from their first three PL2 games and the head coach says there is a positive feeling in the group going into the first international break.

“Overall, I was really pleased with the performance,” he said. “We dominated and had large positive spells with the ball and had a really good game in terms of style and playing the way we want to play.
“Our main disappointment comes from the result. On another day we’d have won the game relatively comfortably. We probably got a bit desperate in the final third and our decision making slightly let us down in some really good areas.
“But the lads had a real go and we feel a little hard done by with the result. Having Ed Turns and Imari Samuels really helped because of the seniority and experience they bring to a young group while Harry Howell and Freddie Simmonds - two 16-year-olds – competed really well.”
Albion: Fisher, Tasker, Turns, Simmonds, Samuels, Vickers (Flower 68), Albarus (Knight 68), Mullins, Ifill, Duffus, Howell. Subs not used: Hall, Penman, Bashir.
