Fabian Hurzeler said his team were punished for ‘two easy mistakes’ as they let slip a 2-0 lead against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
Albion looked to be on their way to a seventh Premier League win of the season thanks to goals in each half by Tariq Lamptey and substitute Yankuba Minteh.
But Jamie Vardy pulled one back after 85 minutes before teeing up Bobby Cordova-Reid for Leicester’s stoppage-time equaliser in the 2-2 draw.

“I credit the fightback from Leicester but when you are 2-0 up and controlled the whole game you should be disappointed,” said the head coach. "We experienced this before against Wolverhampton. Everyone in the stadium thought the game was done but it wasn't. It's our fault and we have to take responsiblity.
“In the end we were punished for two easy mistakes. We needed to find the right game management so we could take away the three points.
“Leicester came strongly after scoring their first goal but it’s our responsibility to be much more mature in how we solve things so that these things don’t happen. Sometimes you can't explain it - it's football.
“We’ve got to be critical of ourselves. If you want to achieve something you need to keep clean sheets. Everyone has to have the same mindset, and not just the defenders. Now is the time to show character and personality, that's what I will demand."
