Geummin Lee says Albion's 1-0 victory over Manchester City is a 'special' moment for the club.
The South Korean international combined well with fellow former City forward Pauline Bremer to score the winner at the Joie Stadium in the Women's Super League on Sunday.
The result was the first time Albion have beaten the City in ten attempts in the WSL and secured Melissa Phillips' side their second victory of the league campaign - much to Lee's delight.
"It [the win] feels good. I feel really happy to get the three points and it feels great to score for this club," she said. "It's the first time we have ever beaten City and that makes me really happy. It is special for me, for everyone, for our team, and for Brighton. It's great for our supporters."

Head coach Phillips said Lee was among a number of players who excelled on a momentous day. "I think Baggers [goalkeeper Sophie Baggaley] has been excellent against top teams. When we know we are going to be tested against this opposition she has stood up to the test," she said.
"Our backline was excellent in defending the box and, of course, it is really nice to see Lee come on, impact the game, and take her chance really well."

Albion have now picked up four points over the past week against the WSL's Manchester sides, after they earned a 2-2 draw against Manchester United last time out. Next up they host Arsenal on Sunday and while that is another tough fixture Phillips believes Albion, who have risen to eighth in the table, are on the up.
"We know we have been close in a lot of games and being defined by really key moments," she said. "To pick up a clean sheet [against City] is huge, to manage halves the way we did is huge and the adaptability of the group, to ebb and flow between different shapes in games and trust in each other and build upon those moments is really critical."
