A subtle reminder to Yasin Ayari that nobody will outdo Diego Gomez this evening. The Swede lets fly with a well hit strike from 25 yards, he's a bit unfortunate as it curls away from the top corner and towards the outstretched gloves of Cooper to palm away.

Harry Howell has replaced Diego Gomez. Thank you for that performance, Diego, that was outrageous.

Apparently the last Albion player to score four in a single game was Glenn Murray against Wycombe in December 2009. For those who can't quite remember, it ended in a 5-2 win over the Chairboys at Adams Park, with Nicky Forster getting the other one for Albion.

Keillor-Dunn wins possession on the halfway line, he spots Steele off his goal and goes for the spectacular. Steele slips as he backtracks, but the ball hits the top of the crossbar and goes behind for a goal-kick.

Watson plays a nice one-two with Welbeck on the left as the youngster darts into the box. He looks to lash it in from 15 yards, but gets under his strike and sends it well over.

Stef Tzimas is desperate to get in on the goalscoring action. The Greek forward finds himself next to the by-line with the keeper out of his goal. He looks to curl it over the Barnsley stopper and does so, but he can't beat Shepherd who heads it away on the line.

Carlos Baleba's final action before being substituted is a sumptuous piece of play that should result in a goal. He plays a one-two with Tzimas on the edge of the box before sitting down a defender, but his effort from an angle is tipped away by Cooper. He's replaced by Yasin Ayari.

Carlos goes into the book for tripping Farrugia in the middle of the park.

One change as we get the second half underway as Charlie Tasker replaces Ferdi Kadioglu.

Another Tommy Watson cross is met my Gomez again, but the Paraguayan is stretching to reach it and sends the ball comfortably wide of goal from about eight yards.

Diego Gomez plays Stefanos Tzimas in on goal with a terrific pass. The Greek striker races through, but in steadying himself lets the centre back get back in and give him a nudge, before Cooper dives on the ball! Given Stef's goalscoring exploits as a sub against Oxford in the last round, you were expecting to see the net bulge there.

Barnsley boss Conor Hourihane has spoken ahead of Tuesday night's game at Oakwell. On facing Albion, "It's a really exciting game for myself, the squad and the club. It's a game that we're really looking forward to, testing ourselves against a really exciting squad who can play at a really high level, it's one we're really looking forward to the challenge of." On what Albion team line-up he is expecting, "Analysing the game against Oxford, the transfer window was still open then so a few of the players that were playing in that game are now gone, so it will be a slightly different side to the team that won." On what he learned from the Oxford game, "It was a convincing win, but watching the game start to finish, Oxford had a lot of chances in the game. It's something we've been looking at and hopefully it's something we can do come Tuesday night."

Fabian Hurzeler knows Albion have a tough task on their hands if they want to make it through to the next round of the Carabao Cup. Standing in Albion's way is League One Barnsley. "They play good football, they have good players, so we have to be prepared," the Albion head coach said. "We want to go to the next round but we will need the performance to be on the highest level. "It's a do or die game. It's a 50-50 game. We have to really take it seriously because Barnsley have played a really good season so far."
