Promise David

Promise David joined Albion on a season-long loan from sister club Union Saint-Gilloise in August 2026, with an obligation to buy for £22 million.

He began his career in North America before embarking on a European journey through Croatia, Malta, and Estonian side Nõmme Kalju, where a prolific 2024 season earned him a move to the Belgian Pro League.

A sensational campaign in Belgium would follow with Union SG – where he scored 19 goals to help secure the club's first league title in 90 years alongside winning the Belgian Cup – before sealing his move to the Premier League.

Promise’s club achievements earned him a senior international debut for Canada in 2025, later going on to represent his country at the 2026 FIFA World Cup where he scored in the group stages.

He had previously appeared at youth international level for Nigeria Under-23s.
