Evan Ferguson joined Albion from League of Ireland side Bohemians in January 2021, later extending his stay with a long-term contract until June 2029.
He came through the youth ranks at Bohemians, making history by making his senior debut as a 14-year-old in a pre-season friendly against Chelsea in 2019.
A sensational breakthrough into Brighton's first team would follow during the 2022/23 campaign, where he scored 10 goals in all competitions, including becoming the youngest Irish player to score a Premier League hat-trick in a 3–1 win over Newcastle United, before gaining further European experience through valuable loan spells at West Ham United and Serie A club Roma.
Evan’s rapid rise was rewarded with his senior international debut for the Republic of Ireland in November 2022, quickly becoming a central figure for his national team.
He has also represented his country at Under-15, Under-17, and Under-21 youth levels.
