Malick Yalcouyé joined Albion from Swedish side IFK Göteborg in July 2024, signing a five-year contract.
He came through the youth system at Ivorian academy ASEC Mimosas, making his senior debut in the CAF Champions League before earning a move to Allsvenskan outfit IFK Göteborg in January 2024.
A valuable season-long loan with Austrian champions Sturm Graz would follow for the 2024/25 campaign – where he gained vital experience competing in the UEFA Champions League – before building on his domestic exposure with a year on loan at Championship side Swansea City for the 2025/26 season.
Malick’s rapid rise at club level earned him his senior international call-up for Mali in November 2024.
