Danielle Bowman appointed as women's under 19s head coach
Danielle Bowman has been appointed as women's under-19s head coach.
Managing director of women's and girls football Zoe Johnson said, "Dani has been doing the role on an interim basis following the departure of Sinead Hogan-Belcher and she has done a fantastic job in that period.
"We're delighted to offer Dani the role on a permanent basis, we are really looking forward to seeing what she can do with our group of players during what should be a really exciting season."
Dani played for Albion in the WSL for four seasons from 2018-22 and made 66 appearances for the club across all competitions.
Dani will also be assisted by Tim Tapscott. Tim holds a UEFA B licence and has spent 14 years coaching in Albion’s Foundation and four years with the girls’ academy. Most recently he spent a season with the boys' academy at the club.

"Tim has extensive experience in previous roles in our girls' and boys' academies and our community foundation as well. Tim and Dani will compliment each other well," added Johnson.
"He understands the club and I am really excited to see them working together.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank Sinead for her incredibly hard work at the club.
"The strengthening of our girl’s academy programme over the last five years would not have been achieved without her dedication. We wish her all the best for the future.”
Academy manager Perry Northeast added, "After a comprehensive recruitment process with high-quality candidates, we are really pleased to announce Dani Bowman as our new head coach.
"Dani brings a wealth of football experience to the role and has first-hand knowledge of what it takes to be a professional player with the WSL. This is vital for the players' continued development within our environment.
"Tim has excellent player development experience and has worked across our girls and boys' academies in recent seasons.
"He deeply understands our club values and coaching philosophy and will add great value to our department. We are looking forward to watching the players develop and perform under Dani and Tim's guidance."
Josh Dowsett will remain as women’s and girls’ lead academy goalkeeping coach and continue to work closely with Dani and Tim this season to develop the squad.
