Perry Northeast has been appointed as our new womenâs and girlsâ academy manager.
Perry replaces Jeremy Sauer, who has left the club.
Girlsâ managing director Zoe Johnson said, âWeâd like to thank Jeremy for his contribution to the girlsâ academy.
âHe has helped us continue to develop our academy programme and had a significant impact over the last year.
âWe wish him well and we're now excited to continue working with Perry, who will keep working closely with Dario and the first team staff.
âHeâll lead our academy programme and the transition of our young players within the pathway to first-team football.â
Womenâs first team head coach Dario Vidosic said, âWeâre really excited to be working with Perry. He was excellent in his previous position with the first team and will play a key role helping develop our future players.â
Perry was womenâs and girlsâ technical director before working as a first-team coach last season.
He said, âIâm really looking forward to developing our girlsâ academy at Brighton. âJeremy did a fantastic job over the last year to strengthen the foundations already in place in our youth set-up.
âThe development of young players is one of our key priorities at the club. Iâm looking forward to working closely with Dario to continue the progression of our academy players and helping them achieve opportunities within the womenâs first team.â
