Norwegian duo reflect on their time at Albion.

As their time at Albion comes to a close, Maria Thorisdottir and Guro Bergsvand have shared heartfelt messages of appreciation for the club, their teammates and the fans.

“It’s been two amazing years,” said Maria. “I fell in love with the club, the team and the fans. It’s gone by so quickly, but I’ve loved every moment.

"The support from the stands, home and away, has been incredible. Keep doing what you’re doing, Albion fans - it’s been amazing to watch the fanbase grow.”

Guro echoed the sentiment, reflecting on a season of progress and connection. “We aimed to be one of the top teams and had some strong performances against tough opponents,” she said.

“Fifth place is a great step forward for the club. It’s been a roller coaster at times, but the people — the teammates, the staff, and the fans — have made it special.

To the fans, Guro added simply: “You’ve been amazing all season. We really appreciate you.”
