Dario Vidosic believes Bruna Vilamala is a player who will excite Albion fans.
The 22-year-old midfielder joined on loan from Barcelona last week and then linked up with her new teammates back in Spain for their pre-season training camp and got her first minutes in the 7-0 friendly win over Malaga.
Vidosic said, “She's an unbelievable player. She saw the vision and the style that we'd like to play and she wanted to come. She's a Champions League winner, a very successful player and has played on the biggest stages – she is a huge talent.
“She chose to join us, but we also want to help her develop as well. She's young and she can only get better. There's stuff that she knows herself, and there is stuff that I showed her as well.
“But it's not just her, I think all the players have this willingness to learn and that's why they are such a terrific group to work with. The fans can be excited about Bruna, and I think there's a few more as well who will really excite the fans this season.”
With last season’s top scorer Elisabeth Terland departing in the summer Vidosic believes the onus is on everyone to step up in front of goal, and encouragingly five players netted in Tuesday's game against Malaga.
“We're trying to get more people in positions to score and with the style that we play we hope to get everyone as close to the opponent's goal as possible,” he added. “If we can get people in the right areas our players have the quality to put those chances away.”
