I'm super excited and humbled to sign an extension here at Brighton. I've always wanted to play in this league and I feel incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to play for Brighton for a couple more years.
How do you reflect on your first two seasons at the club?

My first season was difficult from an individual perspective battling through injury, but I was really happy to debut to end my season back on the pitch with my teammates.
This recent season has been a huge step forward for the club. Finishing fifth, our highest-ever finish was incredible. We want to keep going together collectively and on an individual level.
We caught a lot of people by surprise, but being here, seeing all the work and effort that the players and the staff put in, you could see that we were definitely trending upwards.
We're in a good position and the club is doing everything they can to keep us moving in the right direction.
What do you want to achieve personally and collectively next season?
I want to continue to put together consistent performances and play as much as I can. As a team, we want to keep pushing and break into the top four.
I want to be available for the majority of the season. I was really proud of that this season and I'm looking to do more.
We had a really strong first half of the season and then were a little bit wobbly in the second half of the season. So, we want to put together some more consistent performances across the season - we can do better at that.
However, we played a lot of beautiful football as well this year. If you can put that together with more consistent performances, it puts us in a really good position to be battling in the top echelons of the table.
How have you found working with Dario the last season?

He's definitely a coach who really believes in his way of play and his philosophy. He really imparted that on us during the pre-season period as well as throughout the season.
He's tweaked and made changes throughout the season and they've been really successful as well.
He's done a really good job coming in, getting the team behind him, and believing in his ideas - we want to continue to build on that.
