Dario, what are your initial thoughts on the game?
"I think the result was really, really good. Performance wise we're probably a little bit below where we would like to be, but when I look back and take into context the week we've had – two tough away trips, over 20 hours in transit on a bus – we got home nearly at 2am after the Birmingham game, to perform at the level we did today was really pleasing, especially against a very good opponent.
"We'll learn a lot from this game and hopefully everyone comes out of this week unscathed, we'll see everyone after a few days of rest and we'll get back to work and get ready for next weekend."
Aston Villa proved a strong opponent though…

"They made it very hard for us. They’re very physical, very fast in transition. They were looking to hit us in those moments. Sometimes we gave them those opportunities, but other times some of the football we played was really nice. So it’s been a really positive week, a very tough week. A lot of good stuff."
You made a number of changes in midweek against Birmingham and won – how pleasing is it to be able to do that and carry on winning?
"That was the idea, to give some girls opportunities as well in Birmingham. That was to get them ready and try to find the balance where there's not too much fatigue in the group, because we knew that it was going to be a tough game today."
Your team scored different types of goals today. Was that the plan?
"We had to work very hard, which we did. We had that quality as well, where we've got different profile of players – we've got Bruna [Vilamala] on the pitch when we have the ball and want to keep it. And then when they start to throw numbers forward, then we can bring on the likes of Michelle [Agyemang] and Maddie [Haley] that can then hurt them in transition.
"That's something that we spoke about, something that we work on. We're not just a one trick pony where it's always the same thing. We base our football on the opponent so we can alter and change within the game. It was a fun battle. I had to try to alter our shape where we could overload, where we could find the space."
Nikita Parris had a big impact on the game with a goal and an assist. What were your thoughts on her performance?

"We know Nikita’s quality. She'll only get better the more she's with us, the more she understands us. Even this morning we were showing her videos where we're going through things. We know we can put her in the number ten position, into the nine or the wing, it's just the quality she has.
"She was brilliant. We know her qualities and I expect that she'll get better and better."
Your team now face Crystal Palace next week…
"That was the one I was told straight away about, the derby.
"We're looking forward to it. We know that'll be another tough test. It'll be nice to now have another normal week to prepare."
