Charlie Penman has joined National League side Aldershot Town on a season-long loan.

Men’s under-21 head coach Shannon Ruth said, “This is an excellent first opportunity for Charlie to experience men’s football at a really good level in the National League.

“He has performed well in the EFL Trophy and National League Cup competitions for us and this loan will provide him with challenges which will accelerate his development.

“We will be in close contact with Charlie during his time with Aldershot.”

The 19-year-old joined us from Blackburn Rovers in 2021 and made the step up from our under-18s to the under-21s at the beginning of the 2024/25 season.
