Aidan West scored a hat-trick as Albion emphatically secured their place in the semi-finals of the Sussex Senior Cup with a 7-0 win over Whitehawk.
Without a win since they returned from their winter break, Albion stunned the Isthmian League Premier Division Hawks with four goals in the opening 23 minutes, and a fifth with half-time approaching.

Josh Roberton converted from Harry Mills’s pullback, before West sprinted through on goal and rolled the ball past goalkeeper Joseph Osaghae to put his team two up within eight minutes.
Nehemiah Oriola snatched possession on the right of the box before cutting in and curling into the opposite corner, and then West was played in and, again, showed a cool head to slot the ball into the back of the net.

The game was dead and buried in the 38th minute when Sahil Bashir showed real individual quality to skip away from a defender before slamming an effort beyond the reach of Osaghae.

Service was very much resumed after the break and West had his third in the 50th minute, tapping in from Oriola's cross. He wasn't far away from his fourth with 25 minutes to play with a curling effort that flew narrowly wide of the bottom right corner.
Albion would find their seventh though and it was Robertson again, with the former Sunderland man dancing past two challenges before finding the bottom left corner in the 77th minute.
We will now face Horsham in the semi-finals, while Littlehampton will play Eastbourne Borough in the other semi for a place in the final.
