Albion made it three wins from their opening five Premier League 2 games with a convincing 3-0 win at Middlesbrough on Friday afternoon.
Having gone in goalless at half-time, Albion took the lead five minutes after the restart through in-form Josh Duffus, who pounced on a mistake at the back before beating two defenders and tucking home from 12-yards for his fourth goal this season.
Shannon Ruth’s team limited Middlesbrough to just four shots over the course of the 90 minutes, but it took them until the 79th minute to put the game out of reach for Boro when Louis Flower doubled Albion’s advantage. The former Chelsea man tapped in from Jacob Slater’s ball into the box.

The well-deserved win was secured when Remiero Moulton struck late on, getting on the end of Jamie Mullins’s pass to tuck home.
Men’s under-21 head coach Ruth said, “It's a really good away win. I am delighted with the performance that the players put in. It was tough conditions and we obviously travelled a long way.
"We started the game really well. We huffed and puffed a little bit, but created some really good chances and were maybe a little bit wasteful and probably should have gone in at least a goal or two up at half-time. It wasn't to be the case, but we started the second half strongly.

"There were starts for Charlie Penman, Remiero Moulton and Sahil Bashir. They came in and impacted the team well. We've got a big group, but everyone's contributing.
"The way the team is coming together and playing, no matter who comes into the team, we're getting some strong performances."
