Albion will look to secure their first Premier League 2 win of 2025 on Sunday when they take on Manchester United in Lancing.
Having suffered a narrow defeat to leaders Manchester City before drawing 1-1 with Leicester City, under-21s head coach Shannon Ruth doesn’t believe his team have had the rub of the green in recent weeks.
“We've certainly been performing well. I can't ask anymore from the players in terms of performance," he said.

“We probably feel a little bit hard done by if I'm honest. In the Manchester City and Leicester game we felt that we performed well enough to win both. I thought we were excellent in the City game.
“We were getting into really promising positions. In both games we were playing and adapting without a striker and I thought that the players did great.
“We feel really pleased with the performances that we've put in, but we feel a little bit disappointed with the return of points considering how well we've played.”

The City game marked a first defeat in the league since the opening day, but Ruth explained his team are all pulling in the same direction.
“We're really lucky with the group and the personalities that we have. They're very aware that if they are going to achieve their individual goals and targets for the season, they're going to do it together," he added.
"When people come to watch our players, they have to see that they're really good teammates. They've got values that will transfer to the team they're potentially going on loan to. That can make January a bit of a tricky month because of the pressure for young players, but it is a period that I think our group is dealing with really well. "
