The men’s under-18s suffered a 2-0 defeat to Fulham in Premier League South on Saturday.
The Cottagers scored both their goals in the opening 12 minutes – Logan Cooke opened the scoring after five minutes before Thomas Wingate added the second.
The result leaves Albion fifth in the league table.
Under-18s head coach Inigo Calderon said, “I am disappointed. It was a bad start, really poor.
“We conceded two early goals and that made everything more complicated. After that I think we did have a good game – the last 20-25 minutes of the first half and the second half we were the better team.
“But it was far too late. It’s not acceptable. We cannot start the game with that lack of desire.
“I understand in football that you can have a bad day or a good day. You can have shapes and structure that don't work. But the desire to perform, the desire to play for this shirt, that's a non-negotiable.
“We have to think and to learn from this because it was not good enough.”
