After consultation with the Fan Advisory Board the club are announcing some important changes for season-ticket holders going forward.
North Stand Safe Standing
There are some exciting changes we will see around The Amex over the next couple of years including safe standing being introduced into the back for the North Stand. Safe standing will initially be introduced from row R backwards and will then be reviewed on an annual basis.
The North Stand seats affected in 2025/26 are: Block N1A to N1H, row R upwards, seats 13-241. Block N1A, seats 1-12 will not have safe standing installed, nor will N1H from seat 243 upwards and none of Block N1I.
If you are affected by this change and wish to relocate please see the tickets site for details of your priority move window.
Utilising your Season Ticket
From 2025/26 we are asking season ticket holders to use their ticket for 75% of matches during the season.
This means you can attend, list for resale, share or upgrade your ticket but you cannot leave your seat empty for five or more matches.
If you do, you may not be able to renew for 2026/27 and we may list your seat on the ticket exchange.
To count towards 75% usage, tickets must be listed on the ticket exchange by 2pm on the day before the match.
Remember, you can share your ticket with a MyAlbion+ member with one free use per season or £20 for unlimited sharing.
By making these changes we will make sure that everyone gets the chance of enjoying the thrill of a Premier League matchday at the Amex.
Concession changes
We are giving early notice that we will be moving the senior concession age to 66 and over for the start of the 2026/27 season, as we fall in line with the government's pension age.
We’ve seen the number of concession season ticket holders grow significantly in recent years and the discount that concessions receive compared to the adult price has grown since the Amex opened from 25% to 33% in some areas.
Over the coming seasons, we’ll slowly reduce this discount back to 25% by 2027/28 and to 20% by 2029/30. We’ll continue to review the senior concession age in line with the state pension age.
With a 95% renewal rate overall on season tickets, our season ticket base is getting older. Since the Amex opened the number of senior season tickets has gone up from 10% to 18% and in areas such as Zone D only 53% of season tickets are held by adults, the remainder by concessions. We hope this helps to provide some context to why these changes are being made.
Finally, there will be some changes to where the under-10 price band is available. We will continue to honour an under-10 season ticket in Zone D for those fans renewing their same seat. However, new STHs / supporters looking to move in to this area who are under-10 will pay the under-18 price from 2025/26. Under-10s pricing will also no longer apply in the new safe standing area in the North Stand, and priority move windows will be offered to all those in that area who wish to relocate.
The plans were shared with the FAB at their last meeting and a comparison with other clubs’ season ticket renewals was undertaken.
Fan Advisory Board: “Whilst nobody wants to see an increase in pricing, the FAB recognises that costs have increased and that significant investment is being made on and off the pitch. We also recognise that season ticket utilisation is an important part of having a full stadium, adding to match day atmosphere and matchday revenues. We would encourage season ticket holders to utilise season ticket sharing and the ticket exchange and if your personal circumstances change please contact the club to see what help can be given.”
