New Albion signing Stefanos Tzimas has a "nose for goal" and is only going to get better under the World Cup's all-time top scorer - and eventually Fabian Hurzeler.
That is according to Fotbollskanalen writer Keven Bader, who believes the 19-year-old has come on leaps and bounds since working with Nuremberg head coach Miroslav Klose.
The Greek striker - who will spend the second half of the season on loan at the 2. Bundesliga team before joining Albion in the summer - has even been likened to RB Leipzig target man Benjamin Sesko after bagging ten goals in 18 league games in 2024/25.
"Brighton fans can expect a young, hungry, and talented striker," said Bader. "He is quite complete, has nice technique, and is very good in one-on-ones. In Germany, parallels have been drawn with Benjamin Sesko at RB Leipzig, which is a very nice compliment.

"Since he arrived from Greek side PAOK last summer, he has developed a nose for goal. He has become more of a pure goalscorer than before, which can be explained by working under Klose (who has a record 16 World Cup goals). "
"After a sub-optimal start where he got sent off, things have improved a lot for the teenager."
Bild reporter Nico Gelev says it is clear to see the improvements the 6ft 1in forward has made in just a few short months at the German outfit. Moreover, he puts in a good shift for his team.
"His breakthrough came after that early suspension and since then he has been unbelievably good for Nuremberg," he said. "Not only has he scored a lot of goals, he is also very diligent with his defensive duties; intensely pressing the opposition from the front.
"He has a great sense of anticipation in the box but he can also get even better in that area. Plus, he has improved his first touch and dribbling a lot."

Tzimas has impressed a great deal in the German second tier but stepping up to the Premier League is a huge task. Both Bader and Gelev stressed Brighton fans need to be patient with the youngster - who helped PAOK win the Greek top-flight title in 2024 and is their youngest goalscorer at 17 years, one month and 26 days.
Gelev said, "It is a very big step up [to the Premier League]. He is very young and very, very talented. I think Fabian Hurzeler is the right coach for him to help him take the next step in his career.
"Tzimas has learned very quickly in 2. Bundesliga and has adapted his play there. I think he can do the same in the Premier League, even though the opponents are much better. I think he has a great future ahead."
Bader added, "You probably shouldn't put too much pressure on Tzimas to begin with. But it is a good sign that he adapted quickly to German football, which could stand him in good stead at Brighton. It may also be an advantage to have that 'German connection' with Hurzeler, too."
