Kjell Scherpen kept a clean sheet as he helped Sturm Graz to an important win in the Austrian Bundesliga.
The 24-year-old keeper is in his second season on loan with Sturm and helped them to a 2-0 win over Austria Klagenfurt which moved them up to third in the league table.
Domestically, five Albion players were in action for EFL clubs in the last few days.
James Beadle had a mixed week as he began a second loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday. Beadle played in last Wednesday’s 2-1 win at Hull City in the Carabao Cup but was beaten four times on Sunday in the 4-0 Championship defeat at Sunderland.
Andrew Moran made his Stoke City debut as a second-half substitute at Watford but the Potters went down 3-0.

Tom McGill made his MK Dons debut on Saturday but they went down 2-0 to Colchester United in League 2.
Luca Barrington has had a successful start to his loan spell with Grimsby Town. He started both last Tuesday’s Carabao Cup tie against Bradford, which the Mariners won on penalties, and Saturday’s 3-2 League Two victory against Cheltenham Town at Blundell Park.
Benicio Baker-Boaitey played 45 minutes of Port Vale’s 3-2 loss to AFC Barrow in the Carabao Cup but was absent through illness for Saturday’s goalless draw with Tranmere. Meanwhile Kamari Doyle made his debut as a second-half substitute for Exeter City but was unable to help them from losing 2-1 at Northampton Town in League One.
