Jan Paul van Hecke has been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month for March.
The defender scored his first goal for the club in the 2-1 win over Fulham, before putting in an impressive performance in the 2-2 draw at Manchester City.

The Premier League said of Jan Paul's month, 'A linchpin in Brighton’s defence, the 24-year-old started the month by playing a key role against Fulham, scoring the equaliser with a powerful header as the Seagulls produced a 2-1 comeback win. The centre-back produced another commanding display, this time in a 2-2 draw at Man City, to help Brighton stay firmly in the mix for a European place.'
