Fabian Hurzeler has said his team have changed the way they defended since the 4-2 defeat to Chelsea at the end of September.
In the five Premier League games since, Albion have won three, drawn one and lost one, and they head into Saturday’s game at Bournemouth in sixth.
“We learned from that game," Hurzeler said. "In general, we learn from every game. It is a lot about defending together as a team, about having the right game management. It’s a lot about what do we need to do to win games.
"Although we are quite a young squad, I especially want the young players to grow in these roles quickly. Therefore, we need to have this process of learning.

“What we changed [after the Chelsea game] was that we adapted our last line, so we didn’t play that high anymore. Of course, we still tried to be a very compact team in a high line, in a low block. But there are still a lot of improvements to do.
“It is very important that the players are very convinced on the pitch. That is the main thing we try to focus on. I try to listen to them and be open to their ideas. How they feel on the pitch, how they defend together, what they might improve. What they feel we have to do better.
“These are all things we can learn from and I think it is very important to focus every time on the process because then you can learn from games like Chelsea, you can also learn from games like Wolverhampton.
“If you don’t learn then you will do the same mistakes and that is what we don’t want to do.”
