Georginio Rutter’s quick adaption to life with Albion has pleased head coach Fabian Hurzeler.
The Frenchman has scored twice and provided one assist in his seven Premier League appearances so far, having joined us from Leeds United in August.
"He's impressive,“ Hurzeler said. “He works hard for the team and has adapted quickly. He already arrived with intensity because of the Championship – I don't know the difference because I haven’t experienced it – and he said there is a similarity in intensity. That's why I think he has adapted quickly.
“He's a clever player, especially in one-against-one duels. He has a very good touch to get out of these duels. He has a good feeling for the space and a good left foot. He sprints into the box which increases his percentage of scoring.

“He has two things to improve to make me happy. Physically he's not at his highest level yet. We have to bring him there with tough training sessions. He needs the willpower to go through these sessions and he showed that [in training] this week so I'm very happy with him and hopefully he can continue these performances."
Evan Ferguson was also praised by his boss ahead of today's game against Wolves.
“Evan is in great shape, mentally and also physically. The game against Newcastle wasn't that easy for him, but I like how he worked defensively for the team which was impressive. That's a very positive point and what I give him as feedback.

“But for me, I judge them by the things they can influence and that is like how he reacts when he loses the ball and how he supports his teammates defensively. There he showed a really good performance and now it's also up to us to give him the right advice, to give him the right training sessions and to give him the right ball touches on the pitch to improve him.
“We have to get his confidence back after his long injury and then I'm sure that he will be back to his best shape and even better.”
