Fabian Hurzeler was upbeat despite seeing Albion concede an equaliser against Fulham with virtually the last kick at the Amex.
Substitute Rodrigo Muniz rescued a point for Fulham in an opening-day 1-1 draw after Albion had gone in front through Matt OâRileyâs 55th-minute penalty.
âFor sure it feels painful but I think itâs important to take the positive things away â we played a really good game, we defended really well,â said head coach Huerzeler.

âFor their goal itâs more about avoiding conceding the corner. Sometimes teams have a player in the right place and thatâs what happened â we couldnât defend it. We have to accept it.
âBefore their goal I donât think Fulham had a really clear chance and in the second half we should have scored a second goal and the game would have been over.
âThatâs football, it doesnât feel great now but we have to be positive about the many good things we did and work on improving for next week's game.â
