Jack Hinshelwood has praised the work of Albionâs coaching staff after he benefitted from the work the squad have done on set pieces.
Both Albion goals in Saturdayâs 2-2 draw against Manchester City came that way with Pervis Estupinan scoring directly from a free-kick before Hinshelwood profited when his shot was deflected in following Estupinanâs corner on the left.
âRight from the start of the season a lot of work's been going into them,â said Hinshelwood. âWe've obviously got two great technical coaches in Jonas [Scheuermann] and Marco [Knoop], Jonas on the attacking ones and Marco defensively.
âThey've been helping us along the way and give us great insight going into the game about what everyone needs to be doing. Everyone knows their role clearly and we try to execute the plan.
âThings change weekly and game to game, and I was tasked with something different on Saturday. Weâre all just trying to do our best to help the team.â
Hinshelwood admitted Albion were âslightly disappointedâ not to claim their first win at the Etihad despite extending their unbeaten streak to seven games, including six wins.
âOff the back of that Forest game, to go seven games unbeaten shows where we're at, and I think even more so when you go to City and are slightly disappointed with the point.
âWe almost don't want this international break to come as much that it's a pleasure to go and play for your country, because of the form we're in.
âBut when we come back and regroup we need to show the same intensity and togetherness that's got us these good results. But I think we're going into every game now with plenty of confidence and belief that we can go anywhere and get a good result.
âMan City possess great quality as do all the teams around us so we know we're going to have to be at our maximum to get anything come the season.â
