Women In Football held a male allies event for staff at the Amex, which looked at the role that male colleagues can play to help women thrive in the workplace.
The afternoon focussed on Women In Football's recent survey results and how male allies can do more to take accountability and help drive gender equality forward in football.
The session included an insightful panel discussion hosted by Alison Bender, with Women In Football chief executive Yvonne Harrison, Albion chief executive and deputy chairman Paul Barber and BCOMS founder Leon Mann MBE.
The panel discussed the key ways in which football's male workforce can be better allies to their female colleagues.
This was followed by group tasks to help consolidate the learnings and ensure positive actions lead on from the event.
The day's event was done in conjunction with our Women’s Equality Network.
