The club are delighted to announce we have extended our partnership with Heineken, who have been our official beer and cider partner since 2011, for a further five years.
Head of commercial Russell Wood said, “Heineken have been with us since we moved to the Amex stadium in 2011, and we have had a fantastic partnership with them. They have been an integral part of our fans’ matchday experience and we’re delighted that Heineken’s product offering will be expanded into the Fan Zone when it opens later this year.”
Dave Thorpe, Customer Development Director for Heineken UK, added, “Brighton & Hove Albion are our longest commercial partnership with a Premier League club, an accolade that we are very proud of.
“At the core of that partnership has been a fantastic relationship and a club that is progressive and has fans at their heart. Brighton is a great platform for our brands and the continued investment in the club, its fans and the stadium represents a great opportunity for us both to continue to grow. The latest agreement to extend for a further five years is a great endorsement of the partnership that we have.
“Our relationship goes way beyond our brands and the performances on the pitch. Both of our businesses have a shared set of values that complement each other. A recent example is the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team at the club coming to our internal Town Hall to talk about their involvement in Brighton Pride and the role that they play in Brighton & Hove and the community.
“This is just a small example of how our relationship goes beyond the commercial agreement and how we can continue to learn from each other. Equally, we simply love the people that we work with at Brighton. Everyone is on the same page and has an ambition to grow and continue to evolve the fan experience. We are really excited to see the continued evolution of the club and to be part of that future journey.”
