We are pleased to announce the signing of striker Bruna Vilamala on a season-long loan from Barcelona, subject to the usual regulatory processes.
The 22-year-old left-footed forward has been with Barcelona since the age of 12, progressing through their academy and their B team before making her first-team debut in 2020, going on to score 12 goals in 15 appearances that season.
She has made more than 50 appearances for Barca since then and in June she made her international debut for world champions Spain in a Euro 2025 qualifier against Denmark, having already represented her country at under-17 and under-23 level.
Head coach Dario Vidosic said, “We’re delighted to welcome Bruna to the club. She will give us an exciting option in attack and is a player of proven experience at the highest level, having played in the Champions League and for one of the biggest clubs in the world.
“Bruna is looking forward to playing in the WSL for the first time in her career and we’re looking forward to working with her.”
