Brighton and Hove Albion are excited to announce a new partnership with The Powerhouse Project.
The Powerhouse Project is on a mission to create a community that empowers women and girls, both in and through sport. A huge part of their work is dedicated to developing the next generation of female coaches, working alongside the Football Association and Nike in their journey to achieve their UEFA B licence.
Rosie and Mollie Kmita are former Albion players and founders of the Powerhouse Project.
Rosie said, "We've got a history with Brighton and know they are a very forward-thinking club. It feels like a real full circle moment for us to be back.
"We want to work together and help to build more and better infrastructure for women in football."

Mollie added, "For us, the location is key. There's so much hidden talent in terms of female coaches on the south coast and it's about opening the doors for that local talent and ensuring that they've got a club on their doorstep they can grow with and reach their potential. We know that Brighton have that ambition too."
Albion’s head of commercial Russ Wood said, "The Powerhouse Project is an excellent way of supporting aspiring coaches who look at Brighton as a destination for their coaching journey.
"We're excited to partner with them to help create a lasting impact for women in football in Sussex and ultimately across the country that works hand-in-hand with our EDI commitment."
Women’s and Girls’ managing director Zoe Johnson said, "This is a very exciting opportunity for the club to partner with such an empowering initiative.
"As a club, we are constantly striving to help develop the next generation of females in football and we are very excited to do it with an organisation aligned with the same values."
