Albion sealed a satisfying 7-0 win against Malaga in the first of two friendlies on our pre-season training camp in Spain.
In the draining heat, Albion took on the Spanish second-tier side and five different players - Madison Haley, Maisie Symonds, Pauline Bremer, Rachel McLauchlan and Lily Dent â were on scoresheet.

Haley set the tone when she opened the scoring in the first half after getting on the end of Kiko Seikeâs curling cross.
Albion dominated possession throughout the game, with Symonds on target before Pauline Bremer bagged two goals, with one coming from the penalty spot after recent signing Bruna Vilamala was brought down in the box.

Head coach Dario Vidosic said, âThere was a lot of stuff that we've been practising and that the girls were able to showcase. We set a couple of challenges for them as well before the game and they were able to do that well. The football that we played was really good, but the character of the team was the most pleasing thing.
âWe know thereâs still a long way to go and there's still a lot to improve, but we're enjoying each day. We're learning and full credit to the girls as they've absorbed everything and they're trying to apply it.â
