We are pleased to announce that our head of people and culture Rose Read will be joining the club’s main board as an executive director on 1st June 2025.
Chairman Tony Bloom said, "Rose has been an integral part of the club's senior management team for the past 15 years, and a trusted and valued member of our executive committee. She has a wealth of experience and knowledge, and we are thrilled she will be joining the board next month.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank Rose for her stellar service to the club, congratulate her on the appointment and welcome her to the board."
While her day-to-day role will remain the same, Rose becomes the third woman to join the current board, alongside non-executive directors Michelle Walder and Anna Jones, and the first woman to make the transition in an executive capacity.

Deputy chairman and chief executive Paul Barber added, "Rose has been constant throughout my time here, and been a brilliant colleague to work alongside. We have enjoyed a sustained period of progress and growth as a club, and Rose is one of those who has played a major part in that transformation.
"As someone who is happy to let others take the plaudits, it is now time for her contribution to the club to be recognised, as a vital part of that progress and success. Her appointment is well deserved on the back of 15 years' incredible service to the club.
"I would like to offer my congratulations. It is a brilliant example of what can be achieved through hard work, passion, commitment and loyalty all of which Rose has demonstrated in abundance throughout her time with the club.”
Rose has been in the role of leading the club's people and culture team for the past 15 years, having originally joined from Sussex County Cricket Club in May 2010, as the club was preparing to move to the American Express Stadium.
She led the recruitment and training as the club migrated from Withdean to the Amex and was the driving force behind the development and implementation of the club's values, for which the club is widely recognised and which underpin the club's on-field progress.
More recently, she has played a key role alongside Paul Barber, in the development of the club's Vision 2030, as the club seek to continue that progress and growth.
Rose will assume her new position from 1 June, subject to Premier League approval.
