Albion continue their run of WSL action this Sunday when they travel north to take on Manchester City, kick-off 1pm.
Team news
Head coach Melissa Phillips reported that Madison Haley had a slight injury in her latest press conference, but added that it was nothing serious. She said, "We're in decent shape, I think it's always a little bit difficult managing minutes and travel coming off the back of the International window last weekend.
"Madi Haley has a little bit of a niggle, but we're hopeful for her availability. It's nothing too serious or long term."

Melissa Phillips said, "Man City are good team, they're excellent in possession and they have a real ruthlessness about them in front of goal and in attack. We know that we'll have to have a really top performance out of possession as we did in the last two games and then we'll have to manage the ball even better in terms of opportunities going forward."
Player to watch
Unsurprisingly, Chloe Kelly is our player to watch ahead of the weekend. The Lionness has been in sharp form for City in recent weeks having scored three goals in five WSL games. She made an immediate impact on Wednesday evening in the Continental League Cup against Liverpool, scoring two goals to help secure a 4-3 victory after coming off the bench.
Previous meetings
Pascal Gross is closing in on Mesut Ozil's record for the most Premier League goal involvements by a German player.

Manchester City have never lost a WSL match against Albion, winning eight out of their nine games against us- they’ve only faced Everton more without losing in the competition.
The last time that Albion were able to get a point off of Gareth Taylor's side was a 0-0 draw in September 2020.
Stats and facts
Brighton’s Elisabeth Terland has scored 71.5% of their WSL goals this season (5/7) and has netted in each of her last three for the club, although Albion have failed to win any of those three matches.
Manchester City are unbeaten in their last 21 home Women’s Super League games since losing their first three on home soil in 2021-22. City haven’t lost a home WSL game against a non-London club since April 2018 (0-2 vs Reading) and are unbeaten in 38 such games since then (W33 D5).
After taking a point off Manchester United last time out (2-2), Brighton have the chance to earn points from both Manchester clubs in the same WSL season for the first time since 2020-21 (0-0 away vs Manchester City, 1-0 home win vs Manchester United).
Khadija Shaw has scored six WSL goals against Brighton and Hove Albion for Manchester City, scoring four in a game in April 2022 and a brace in a 2-1 win in March this year. Only Beth Mead and Jordan Nobbs have scored more against the Seagulls (seven each) in the WSL.
Brighton’s Geummin Lee has scored or assisted in all three of her previous WSL matches against Manchester City (1 goal, 2 assists). She has only contributed to more goals against Reading (4 – 3 goals, 1 assist).
