Roberto De Zerbi's team round off their pre-season on Sunday at The Amex.

Our men’s first-team round off their pre-season fixtures this Sunday as we welcome Spanish side Rayo Vallecano to The Amex, kick-off 3pm.

Roberto De Zerbi’s team returned to the UK last week after taking part in the Premier League Summer Series in the USA.

Despite narrow defeats to Chelsea and Newcastle, with a victory over Brentford sandwiched in between, it proved to be a great opportunity for the Italian to assess the depth in his squad, as we prepare for a busy schedule which will include Europa League football for the first time.

The opposition

Vallecano began their pre-season with a 1-0 win over Greek side Panathinaikos, before 1-1 draws against Charleroi and Porto. They head to The Amex off the back of a 3-2 defeat to Valladolid on Wednesday.
