We are delighted to announce that Maisie Symonds has signed a new contract extension with the club.
The 20-year-old made her WSL debut in a win over Bristol City in May 2021, before making her first professional start in the Vitality FA Cup – a 6-0 win over Huddersfield Town on the final day of the 2020/21 season. She has gone on to make 26 appearances in all competitions.
Maisie Symonds is looking forward to working with head coach Melissa Phillips after signing her new contract.

Head coach Melissa Phillips said, “We’re happy that Maisie has extended her stay with us at Brighton.
“She was unfortunate last season to be out with illness and injury but she’s an ambitious young player with a lot of potential.
“We fully believe she will thrive in the squad in the season ahead as we strive to be more competitive in the WSL table.”
